Millennium VG Variable-Geometry Dual Detector Gamma Camera

The Millennium VG Gamma Camera is a premium, high-performance dual-head nuclear medicine imaging system. It features the advanced XP all-digital detectors in 3/8”, 5/8” and 1” crystal configurations. The XP detectors are designed to optimize all-energy imaging, including optional high quality coincidence detection scans. The variable-geometry gantry design enables both 180° and 90° orientations of the detectors for high scanning efficiency. A robotic gantry design features automatic on-line body contoured SPECT and Whole Body (WB) scanning. The gantry’s unique slip-ring technology enables continuous multiple rotation in all tomographic studies, providing a solid infrastructure for innovative applications. Discovery VH, the premium VG configuration, includes Hawkeye CT Transmission Attenuation Correction and Functional Anatomic Mapping. Other core components include a PC-based acquisition station, a multi-functional dual-axis imaging table and a selection of optional collimators mounted on mobile carts.

The Millennium VG can be networked to the eNTEGRA Processing & Review Station for study processing, display and archiving.

The Millennium VG may be configured either as an acquisition system or as a fully integrated system with eNTEGRA. VG models may feature 3/8”, 5/8”, or 1” crystals, with or without Hawkeye.

Clinical Applications

The Millennium VG system is a general purpose camera featuring static, dynamic, whole body, multi-gated, tomographic, gated tomographic and WB tomographic nuclear medicine studies and high energy 511 keV imaging in either single photon mode or optional Coincidence Detection mode.
